Monkey Forest: 10th Birthday Fun Day

Since opening in July 2005, Monkey Forest at Trentham has had nearly 2 million people visit the endangered Barbary macaques. There have been 39 babies born in just the last 5 years adding to the numbers of this endangered species. This year there have been 5 babies so far with more due to arrive any moment.

To celebrate 10 years of education, conservation and research for the endangered Barbary macaque Monkey Forest are holding a fun packed day on July 19th. Jam packed with fun family activities including an Owl displays, face painting and crafts (Additional fees may occur for photos with owls, crafts and face painting). 

Michaela Strachan As part of the day’s celebrations TV wildlife presenter Michaela Strachan will be here to perform her new show which includes scenes from her new book ‘Michaela Strachan’s Really Wild Adventures’.

Not only will she be performing but she will also be doing a book signing after each show. Michaela Strachan’s show is included in normal admission price.
So keep the day free and be sure to join in the celebrations – it’s set to be a ‘really wild’ day!
