Spring Events at Emma Bridgewater Factory
Emma Bridgewater Factory, located in Stoke-on-Trent, is hosting a number of events and activities to celebrate Easter and ring in spring.
From 25 March to 10 April, visitors to the factory can create their own pottery in the decorating studio, take in a Factory Tour, or enter a plate design competition. The grounds also feature a free walking trail and secret garden, and the Factory cafe will be serving lunch and teas throughout the season. Book your tickets online today!
On 20 and 21 April, Arthur Parkinson will be hosting a talk and practical session on summer gardening from 11a to 3p. Topics include seed sowing, dahlia tuber potting, summer flower combinations and more. Participants will practice ‘pricking-out’ seedlings to take home and tour the factory, with a Q&A session and two course lunch also included. Be sure to bring your gardening gloves! Tickets cost £35 and can be booked here.
The Factory will also be hosting a Plant Heritage plant fair on 2 May from 11a to 3p. It promises to be a beautiful afternoon with the courtyard and secret garden in full bloom, and the resident hens back from their winter retreat!
